As Supply Logistics Associate Specialist, you will be responsible for the receipt, administration, control, and management of inventory for raw and packaging materials to ensure proper storage and handling of goods. You will also manage all warehouse issues and provide input to all data relating to items purchased and used by the company. These responsibilities include some of the following: Complete daily stock transactions reconciliation to achieve targeted stock accuracy. Check near expiry, orders for delivery, and status of goods in Quarantine and Manufacturing-Pro system. Responsible for replenishment of material when items are low. Track all equipment to ensure they are in place and in use with compliance from team. Ensure only clean and properly labeled materials are issued to production and that all rejected material are promptly treated and disposal taken in line with standard operating procedures. Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for departmental systems and processes. Provide cover of material and components for all aspects of the Product Stream on time, in right quantity and quality Provide training on standard operating procedures. Ensure prompt data entry input for the receipt, inspection, and issuance of raw and packaging materials. Maintain accurate and timely dispatch of all receipts and issuing transactions. Ensure compliance to good manufacturing practices and employee health and standards policy to reduce accident in all warehouse operations. Control and co-ordinate availability of raw and packaging materials to manufacturing operations to ensure strict adherence to first in first out and effective inventory control. Work with the Production Planner and Process Team Leaders to manage the tensions of raw material requirements and production schedule targets for various product streams. Ensure immediate posting of all stock transaction documents so they reflect the true inventory balances. Identify and prepare a list of obsolete, slow moving, rejected and rationalized materials for management action and to minimize storage and operational costs. Conduct audits in conjunction with the quality assurance process with the Raw & Packaging warehouse to enhance good manufacturing practices. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: High School Diploma 3+ Years’ experience in shipping, and/or receiving, and/or inventory control Experience working with shipping/receiving operating systems (examples: Comet, SAP, PMD) Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Proficiency with computers Understanding of GSK processes and Systems Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and adequate knowledge of Planning and Inventory Control Process thinker to enhance cross functional interaction with other departments. Ability to supervise others. Good interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge in team building and customer care. Ability to work independently and under pressure.
