Summary You will serve as a Supply Management Specialist in the NAVSUP HQ SUP042 Planning Division of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA. Responsibilities You will have a detailed understanding of the missions and operations of Navy shore and afloat activities, the naval logistics mission and supply chain management policies and procedures for the Department of Defense. You will have the ability to apply standard Navy supply policy, procedures and business process to implementation procedures and business policies incorporated into Navy ERP and other Department of Navy Logistics IT Systems. You will be able to react quickly to pressing obligations generated from customers, senior management, Congressional inquiries, or from higher echelons. You will participate as an expert authority in NAVSUP wholesale planning execution and related business processes. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating all of the following specialized experiences must include: 1) demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge in end-to-end supply chain management concepts, principles, policies, and business processes specific to supply and demand planning and material budget. 2) Ability to review, modify, and develop policy. 3) Gather and utilize information to determine business requirements and fit to Navy LOGIT solutions (ex. Navy ERP). 4) Develop reports, metrics, and other data deliverables while utilizing database tools such as SAS to drive program recommendations and improvements. 5) Provide clear and concise information via oral and written communication to various stakeholders including Echelon I and Echelon II mission partners and NAVSUP leadership.
