Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the ORDNANCE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING and MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, DOD SYSTEMS ENGINEERING and MANAGEMENT DIVISION, NAVSUP SYSTEMS SUPPORT BRANCH of NMC ORD SYS ENG MGMT. Responsibilities You will coordinate and execute logistics management, material movements, supply material transactions, and is accountable for inventory and transactional accuracy. You will perform receiving, packing, unpacking/uncrating, storing, and issuing of assets in accordance with the NMCLANT overall warehousing plan and procedures You will process receipts, requisitions, issue document, stock quantity change notifications, survey action documents, for items requiring special handling, research and resolve to correct lost transactions. You will screen incoming material to determine accuracy, condition, verify National Stock Number (NSN), nomenclature, quantity, execute disposal and arrange material to achieve maximum efficiency of storage space and accuracy of inventory. You will ensure material is protected from damage, pilferage, deterioration, and is properly identified and prepare receiving, issue, and discrepancy reports as required. You will utilize computers and is highly proficient with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for inventory management and generate updates to material status, material handling documents, and reports. You will select and assemble items for shipment, ensuring issue assets are loaded aboard proper conveyance and shipping data is recorded on applicable documents. You will coordinate the work of other employees and provide technical guidance to assisting employees from other trades and spot checks work. You will be required to complete training on the P700 Common Naval Packaging Instruction. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in packing and processing material in a warehouse for supply workloads with 12 months experience, education, or training in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Experience in procuring material through various means to maintain material on hand for repair work.
