Main Responsabilities
As a Supply Management Specialist for John Deere Global Supply Management and Logistics, you will work with an Enterprise Supply Base Manager, Engineering and Quality teams to implement and maintain a supply strategy to support new product program requirements for John Deere Power Systems products. In addition, you will:
Lead the negotiation with, and selection of, the supply base to ensure the Company meets overall program goals for cost, quality, and continuity of supply. Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members to influence and align on future architecture and module decisions. Support the dynamic nature of the Enterprise Product Development Process so design changes and product improvements are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner. International Travel 20% What Skills You Need 3 or more years of project management experience including creating a plan, coordinating resources, and delivering results. 3 or more years of experience in roles that required demonstration of effective communication skills (written and verbal). 3 or more years of demonstrated effective internal and / or supplier negotiation. What Makes You Stand Out Previous product design, quality, cost management, or direct material supply management experience 3 or more years of experience in a Supply Management role Experience working on global teams or with global product Experience with Enterprise Product Delivery processes Experience in roles that required an advanced proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, PowerBI) and Tableau Working knowledge of SAP and SharePoint file management Education Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
