An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our company as a Global Supply Network Planner. Your role will involve managing and maintaining inventory and supply of products to our customers globally, while working closely between Marketing, commercial and our manufacturing plants. You will collaborate with demand Planning to review and assist in the roll out of the forecast to successfully meet our customers’ requirements while resolving and negating any potential supply issues or disruptions. You will need to on a weekly basis monitor and report on KPIs such as Fill rate, Days of supply, inventory, and backorder. In addition, you will be involved in helping to develop and the roll out of new Planning systems and tools.

 

 

YOUR ROLE

Managing products under your remit to sustain global product availabilityCoordinating replenishment and balancing inventory levels at strategic distribution hubs.Manage the interface between Marketing, Operations and Product Management.Working closely with the Demand Planning to review and roll out the forecast to the Product    Planners /Plant/ Central Procurement in weekly bucketsBe able to manage and be proactive in reporting, resolving and negating any potential supply issues and/or disruptionsBe a primary point of contact and support for the Distribution Channel and Key Account Managers.Review and manage on a rolling basis item attributes including safety stocks, and FG categorisation.Support the S&OP process and drive the supply review meetingsMaintain KPIs in terms of Fill rate, OTIF, Days of supply, inventory, backorder, and shelf-life   managementProviding other historical and financial analysis as needed.Manage Product life cycle, phasing in and out of products, obsolete products.Monitor finished goods inventory levels and targets.Ensuring customers are provided with up-to-date promise dates for receipt of product
