We are looking for a Supply Network Planner who is reliable, result driven and curious to join us in our Supply Network Operations department for Drug Product & Devices, based on our Braine-l’Alleud campus in Belgium.

 

About the role

The Supply Network Planner manages supply chain operations for drug product and devices within a network of contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and internal sites. Key responsibilities include tactical supply planning, supply performance management, capacity management, and inventory strategy execution. The role involves coordinating with various internal functions and external vendors, ensuring timely production and seamless supply chain operations. The Supply Network Planner is the key contact for supply chain-related matters, working in tandem with Manufacturing and Quality, and reports to the Supply Network Lead. Travel may be required.

 

Who you’ll work with

You will join a dynamic team of Supply Network Planners, all responsible for a subset of production nodes, covering Drug Product and Devices supply of all UCB commercial products across the globe. The Supply Network Planner liaises with many different functions as an orchestrator of Supply Chain operations: Internal & External Manufacturing, Internal and External Quality, Strategic Planning, Demand Management, Global Logistics, Procurement, In-Market Supply Chain, Clinical Supply and Industrialization & Network Planning.

 

What you’ll do

Build and deliver feasible MPS (Master Production Scheduling) plans using OMP+ and SAP.Ensure production plans align with customer requirements and stock policies.Manage Distribution Replenishment Plan (DRP) and collaborate with Global Logistics.Participate in process improvements, integrate inputs to supply plans, and perform scenario planning.Monitor and analyse supply performance KPIs in collaboration with Manufacturing and Quality.Lead root cause analysis and performance management of the production nodes.Develop capacity views and support mutual supply agreements

 

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

You hold a master’s degree in supply chain or demonstrated competences from a similar role.You have +5 years of pharma operations/planning experience; technical skills are an advantage.You show proficiency in SAP and OMP+ (or other ERP systems).You demonstrate strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.You are analytical, KPI-driven and a clear communicator in oral and written English.You have good knowledge of GMP & GDP compliance, with planning and constraint management capabilities.
