As our Supply Planner, you will start by translating the demand plan (sales forecast) into a supply plan (purchase forecast) using the A3 planning tool and setting the correct purchase configurations. The rough supply plan is then translated into the most optimal purchase plan, considering all budget, product, and factory constraints. Once purchase orders are placed, you will monitor and react to the production schedule given by factories until goods are ready for transportation to multiple Distribution Centres in the EMEA Market.

How you’ll help us.           

Based at our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands, you will be reporting to the Supply Planning Team Lead, and as part of the role, you’ll:  

Translate a demand plan into a purchase plan considering supply constraints.  Create and administer purchase orders in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system SAP.  Calculate and submit a future season purchase forecast to our Global Head Office.  Review and update milestone dates (order tracking) of the outstanding purchase order book.  Maintain day-to-day communication with stakeholders, including ASICS Global Operations, AEB Logistics, AEB Demand Planning, and AEB Merchandising.  Provide supply planning input for monthly Sales and Operations meetings, including reports and projections.  Monitor and report KPI results on vendor performance.  Drive continuous improvements in supply processes and use tools like Qlik sense reporting and SAP. 

 

More about you.       

Experience in Supply Planning.   Qualification and experience in Economy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Business Analytics.  Strong knowledge of demand, supply and production processes.  Strong numeracy skills.  Good command of written and spoken English.  Competent in Microsoft Excel.
