Supply Planner

Make It With Pride.** The Supply Planner will provide Supply Chain leadership to partner in the development and execution of Mondelez Supply Chain strategies and objectives. The Supply Planner will own the creation of the supply plan with efforts to minimize obsolete inventory, increase inventory turns, optimize inventory, manage targeted fill rates, and meet/exceed related KPI’s. In addition, the Supply Planner will actively support the process for exclusive items, new product launches, product transitions, and optimizations throughout the product life cycle. The Supply Planner works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of a wide variety of factors. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in solving complex business problems. **How you will contribute** + Plan supply for a dedicated set of items to ensure target fill rate and optimal inventory levels are maintained. + Manage the execution of the supply plan to ensure timely inventory delivery from production through receipt to multiple distribution centers. + Work with external manufacturing locations to optimize schedules, prioritize and de-prioritize items as needed. + Proactively identify & escalate issues which will result in supply at risk (e.g., quality holds, production problems, raw material supply interruption, demand exceeding supply, etc.) and actively support decision making process for resolution. + Monitor KPI’s (e.g., days of supply, inventory turns, customer service levels) and take appropriate action to meet or exceed targets. + Maintain planning related parameters in the system (e.g., lead times, production calendars, safety stock levels) to ensure that replenishment signals are true and stable. + Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities to deliver the company objectives and goals (e.g., new product launches, product change projects, new external manufacturer start-ups, promotional planning what-if analyses, etc.) + Ensure cost effective supply chain execution and/or escalation of exceptions/trade-offs. + Track, report, and action any excess inventory to minimize expiration risk _._ + Actively engage in process improvement efforts around planning & execution. **Requirements:** + Strong operational & supply chain experience. CPG industry preferred. + B.S. degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related degree. + 3+ years supply chain experience. + Experience with production systems (MRP, ERP, SAP, etc.). + Strong in Microsoft Office; MS Excel. + Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem solving and excellent communication. + Strong project management skills are a plus. _This position is hybrid, based in our Emeryville, CA or East Hanover, NJ offices._ _The annual base salary for this position ranges from_ $81,700 to $115,00. _Actual pay will be determine based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law._ No Relocation support available **Business Unit Summary** **The United States is the largest market in the Mondelēz International family with a significant employee and manufacturing footprint.
