Supply Planner

We are seeking a Planner to manage a product portfolio on-site in Bedford Park, IL.  As the Planner, you will be accountable for the production and/or supply of Raw Material. Your focus will be ensuring customer requirements are met through material and production planning.  You will act as a liaison between production along with other internal and external stakeholders to support team and corporate goals.

What You Will Do:  

Accountable for Production and Raw Material planning to ensure customer requirements are metManage short-term supply and raw material scheduling/planning for the Clearing plant, a large facility within our networkIntermediate problem identification/solving and navigating ambiguous situationsUtilizes project management skills to participate in and/or lead small to medium scope/business impact continuous improvement activitiesApplies knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance organizational goalsBuilds internal/external partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectivesMay help design and establish new processes or solutions to drive value through increased efficiency or performanceManages daily operational partnerships with internal plants, warehouses and/or external suppliers


Minimum Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, related field of studySignificant experience with ERPs, advanced planning systems, analytical or equivalent softwareHigh level of proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel and WordDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with different audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholdersAbility to navigate complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamicsA track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectivesExperience with cross-functional collaboration and communication skillsDemonstrated ability for using a strategic mindsetImmigration sponsorship not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced technical or business degree, MBA preferredExperience in operational excellence and project management such as TPM, Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Green Belt, etc.APICS Certification
