Supply Planner

AHF Products has an exciting career opportunity for a Supply Planner to be located at our plant in Crossville, TN.  Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Planner will be responsible for the planning and procurement of outsourced finished goods.  Additionally, they will be effectively managing inventory levels to satisfy customer service and financial requirements while maintaining or exceeding product availability for various customers.  

JOB DUTIES:  

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

Responsible for reviewing inventory levels, and ordering restock material for Crossville branded finished goods to meet optimal inventory requirements. Achieve KPI targets on inventory turns and product availability Achieve customer service and finished goods working capital targets Create and maintain purchase orders in the AS400, Infor M3 and Dancik ERP systems for outsourced finished goods products from AHF suppliers Issuing and managing purchase orders for both domestic and international suppliers Responsible for processing order confirmations, obtaining tracking information for shipments, and maintaining ETA’s dates in AS400, Infor M3 and Dancik ERP systems Communicates with Sales Teams, Customer Service reps, and Operations teams on order status, special shipment requests, stock checks, and product lead times Build and maintain business relationships with suppliers Communicate directly with suppliers concerning product availability, production ETA’s, and shipment of purchase orders Collaboration with Product Development and Procurement teams on pricing and product changes Suggest solutions for process improvements for the department and with suppliers Responsible for maintaining required data fields in the AS400, Infor M3 and Dancik ERP systems used for supply planning and reporting. Manages all material purchases for new product launches for the Crossville branded products and communicates with Product Development to ensure launch targets are met Other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

PowerBI knowledge Import purchasing and custom compliance knowledge

TRAVEL:

Some domestic travel may be required (<10%)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

Highschool diploma or GED equivalent Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field; Bachelor's or equivalent experience 3+ years’ experience in planning, Supply Chain or related experience Strong problem-solving, analytic and math skills Strong decision-making skills Demonstrated accountability, ownership, initiative, and leadership skills Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, and other MS office applications  Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present solutions clearly and concisely to various levels of the organization Ability to multi-task Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening Positive and Verifiable Work History Must follow safety guidelines and wear applicable safety equipment, e.g., safety glasses, side shields, approved safety shoes, and other PPE as needed
