Role: Supply Planner
This role will be responsible to maintain efficient supply chain operations by having the right amount of inventory on hand, availability, fill rates, DSI etc.. Predict demand using supply chain analytics tools & help the company avoid sales risk, achieve working capital targets, and maintain minimal excess and obsolescence.
Work cross-functionally with Stanley Black & Decker’s Product, Marketing, suppliers, distribution centers, transportation, and Demand Planning counterparts.
This role is responsible for complete inventory management which is very critical to company success.
Major Responsibilities:
Work closely with The Demand Planning Team to understand and plan supply/Inventory to support business objectivesResponsible for the effective and efficient management of inventory levels within set KPIs (Inventory, DSI, excess & obsolete, Unit Fill Rate etc.)Work closely with factories / suppliers on Lead-Time improvements & supplier performance to serve markets with optimum Inventory and at least costs.Use Data Analytics, ABC / Threshold Analysis and other tools to maintain right inventory levels with right quality at right location. Tracking & expediting production to ensure orders are filled on time and that Service Levels are at targetManage global suppliers, GSMA, Third Party Suppliers, factories & DCs to prioritize production/replenishment, constraint management & supply / network optimization / logistical issues. Make recommendations to resolveAs a key Stakeholder in S&OP process, Work with sales, marketing, supply chain, suppliers and manufacturing for successful new product introductions, product life cycle, trends & seasonality, and phase in/out processes, Avoid stock outs and/or excess & obsolescenceDefine and implement improvement projects. Identify root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions by working together with cross functional teams to deliver/Exceed on Targets.Actively review, manage, and update ETA of inbound purchase orders using ERP/JDA and Excel based reporting. Updating arrival dates where necessaryExpert in the JDA supply planning systems to support availability and drive planning efficiency. Own and manage the JDA supply planning system, leverage IT platforms such as SAP, BW etc., for data driven decision makingRegularly review and update system settings, maintain planning parameters (MOQ, Lead Time etc.) to maintain a clean and robust working environment Contribute to Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) preparation processesSoft Skills requirement:

Education & Experience:
8+ years of demonstrated Inventory Planning/Supply Chain experienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, fast paced, deadline-driven environmentIntermediate/advanced experience using Microsoft ExcelComputer proficiency a must (MS Office products)Knowledge of SAP and JDA Supply Planning System an assetWe Don’t Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too.
