As the Supply Planner, you will plan and buy for an assigned group of products or vendors, monitoring shipments, factory performance, and transportation disruptions to ensure product availability. You will work closely with internal teams , such as Demand Planning and Customer Service, to deliver the “Right Product, Right Place, Right Time.” In this hybrid role, you will be located onsite at our North Andover, MA location and reporting to the Supply Manager. Your expertise in planning, strong process ownership, and collaboration will guide operational excellence and enhance the customer experience.
You Will:
+ Collaborate with the Demand Planning team on inventory redistribution and maintain supplier scorecards for assigned vendors.
+ Plan and procure finished goods in support of demand forecasts and inventory goals.
+ Address and resolve daily service or delivery issues, including late shipment analysis and expedite requests, and recommend air freight options when necessary .
+ Monitor inventory performance, ensuring objectives are met and maintaining accurate planning data in ERP and APS systems.
+ Identify opportunities to refine planning processes and systems to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
+ Communicate proactively with internal and external customers, providing updates and making decisions to ensure on-time product availability.
+ Coordinate with customer service, distribution centers (DCs), and logistics partners to resolve daily challenges
You Have:
+ A four-year degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Economics, Finance, or relevant degree and experience.
+ 1+ year of experience in supply chain planning, including familiarity with relevant software applications.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
