Supply Planner Intern
Veritiv’s Internship Program will provide real world experience, team projects, social events, volunteer work and professional development trainings. The internships are full-time, hybrid and run June 2 to August 8, 2025.

Job Purpose:

Our Supply Planner Intern will be responsible for managing replenishment and planning strategies to optimize inventory performance. This role will manage post PO activities such as, processing vendor confirmations, following up on past due PO lines, working with operations teams to resolve receiving discrepancies and collaborating with accounts payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.

Job Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with multiple internal customers on projects and presentations.
● Identify opportunities to streamline process improvements.
● Take ownership of a project and then assist other team members to support company initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

● Manages Replenishment policy and parameter setting within ERS/EVO including lead time, minimum order quantities, product segmentation, etc.
● Works collaboratively to effectively manage Customer Dedicated Inventory and Sales Rep to advise stocking strategies.
● Process vendor acknowledgements and verify delivery date, cost, quantity, and terms.
● Follow up with vendors on vendor acknowledgements not received and past due purchase order lines (through exception reporting). Update purchase orders with updated information.
● Work with operations and accounts payable to resolve receiving discrepancies (OS&D’s) and invoice discrepancies (APDs).
● Pursuing a supply chain, operations management or business administration preferred.
● Project Management skills.
● Familiarity with supply chain processes such as demand planning, supply planning, procurement, warehousing, order fulfillment, and transportation.

● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Ability to work in a team environment.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Must be highly motivated, flexible and deadline driven.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong planning and organization skills are required.● Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.● The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Education:

● Bachelor's Degree In Progress
