Purpose Statement
We are currently hiring a Supply Chain Planning Intern candidate who is pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or Finance. We prefer MBA students who are pursuing a degree in either Supply Chain Management, Analytics, Engineering, or MIS.
This intern will work at our world headquarters in Buffalo, NY and should be available to work 12-20 hours/ week in the spring and fall semesters and 20-29 hours/ week in the summer semester.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
The Supply Chain Planning Intern will support the Supply Chain group and work closely with the Planning, Analytics, Operations, Marketing and Sales teams.
Support Supply Chain Planning in reporting, data management, and analytics efforts through:
• Reporting, analysis, and proactive problem-solving
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Review inventory levels to ensure production plans meet inventory/safety stock targets; meet customer service fill rates; and limit spoilage.
• Analyze and review inventory to minimize spoilage and shortage risk.
• Identify and analyze inventory investment opportunities.
• Support Supply Planning team in analyzing supply chain data and generating reports.
• Participate in supply chain optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support planning activities.
• Partner with Supply and Fulfillment associates to execute inventory investment opportunities.
• Attend team meeting and contribute insights as necessary.
• Review and ensure completeness and accuracy of multiple master data and planning parameter fields.
• Gather learnings from Sr. Supply Planning team regarding
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• Must be enrolled in a degree program in supply chain or a similar field
• Strong analytical and solution-oriented problem solving skills for interpreting data and making informed decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects effectively in a fast-paced and often-changing environment
• Ability to manage individual tasks while also working as an integral member of a team
• Knowledge of SAP is preferable

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

$17.00 - $32.00
