POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Supply Planning Manager is a pivotal role requiring a proactive and resourceful individual with a "can-do" attitude, exceptional work ethic, keen attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. This leadership position involves directing a team of Supply Chain professionals responsible for ensuring supply availability, coordinating S&OE processes, managing deployment, enhancing customer service, overseeing back-to-school activities, mitigating risks, maintaining inventory health, and managing end-of-life processes within the Writing Business Unit. The successful candidate will excel at cross-functional collaboration and possess the ability to drive operational excellence across a wide range of responsibilities.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide strategic guidance and oversight to a team of Supply Chain professionals entrusted with managing a portfolio of 2,600+ SKUs. Ensure the team's collective efforts are aligned with achieving exceptional supply chain performance and delivering a customer service level of 95%. Identify potential supply chain disruptions and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate risks. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to communicate associated risks and devise actionable solutions. Make independent decisions based on dynamic circumstances, implement best practices, and foster continuous improvement within the team. Manage constrained items within the allocate to forecast process and escalate issues and changes to recovery in our S&OE meetings Act as a liaison between demand planning and supply teams to ensure accurate information exchange and timely decision-making are made. Work with global purchasing teams on back to school prebuilds, service risk, and requirements to achieve our inventory goals. Analyze supply chain metrics to drive data-driven decision-making and operational enhancements. Provide actionable recommendations to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Responsible for deployment processes and having the right product in the right place at the right time. Address transportation challenges and manage the AF budget. Directly manage a team, providing coaching, fostering career development, and overseeing performance management. Cultivate a team of supply chain experts, aligning their growth with the strategic objectives of the organization. Drive improvements in SAP utilization by streamlining transactional workflows, reduce manual tasks, and promoting system standardization. Responsible for maintaining SAP parameters for planning and inventory management including inventory replenishment strategies, safety stock calculations and lead times. Partnering with GSC teams on best practices for planning in alignment with the organizational goals. Participate in the S&OP and S&OE calls, regularly prepare reports and presentations utilizing data from advanced analytics tools. Create and maintain standard processes while ensuring adherence across the organization. Focus on continuous improvement and change management to adapt the team to dynamic changes across the supply chain in the organization and the market.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, or related Analytical discipline 7+ years of supply chain work experience for a CPG, durable, or professional products company with a focus on global operations 2+ years of people management Highly Proficient in SAP (APO/ECC), Microsoft Office Applications, Power BI APICS CPIM certification (Preferred)

TRAVEL & OFFICE REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to travel domestically as required Hybrid office schedule requirement – Office 3 days/week & Remote 2 days/week
