The Opportunity
We are seeking a Supply Planning Manager at our Lake Forest, IL location to plan, direct, and monitor all supply and logistics activities, ensuring a cost-effective flow of merchandise from suppliers to customers.
What You’ll Work On:
Manage daily supply and logistics operations to maximize efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.Oversee materials planning, procurement, inventory management, storage, warehousing, logistics, transport, and distribution.Develop and implement schedules and procedures to meet operational targets.Allocate resources effectively to achieve goals related to transit times, inventory levels, and service standards.Collaborate with functional and operational managers (e.g., customer service, sales, production planning) to integrate supply activities across the business.Select and maintain relationships with major suppliers and vendors to minimize costs while ensuring high service standards.Lead, evaluate, and develop staff to optimize resource use and meet work schedules and targets.Education and Experience You’ll Bring:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Management.7+ years of relevant work experience.Strong leadership and supplier relationship management skills.Experience in contract negotiation and management.Proficiency in engineering changes and root cause analysis.Financial acumen and analysis capabilities.Experience in material planning and purchasing.Familiarity with quality systems, including CAPAs, SCARs, and QIs.Preferred:

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
