Spherion Mid Ohio, in partnership with The JM Smucker Company, is seeking an organized and accurate Supply Quality Assurance Analyst. This is a 6-12 month contract position that will support the Smucker team in Orrville, Ohio. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a Fortune 500 organization. There may be opportunity for permanent hire for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

... Collect, review, and properly store supplier data into Smucker information systems Manage the approved supplier process for documentation requirements and participate in qualification decisions Obtain compliance documentation from suppliers in order to review and file documents Communicate with suppliers via email and phone to facilitate connections in vendor management system Ensure accuracy of data, forms, and documentation Data entry Other projects as needed

Skills and Experience:

Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or R&D experience is preferred High level of organizational skills Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Professional written and verbal communication skills Highly detail oriented Accurate keyboarding skills Adaptable and flexible to changing business needs Self-motivated PCQI certification is preferred

Education:
Bachelor's Degree is required

Pay:
$22/hour (approximately $45,760 annually)

Contract Length:
This position will begin as a 6 month contract role with possible extension up to 12 months and/or opportunity for permanent hire for the right candidate.

Schedule/Location:
This position is full time (40 hours/week), working Monday – Friday, approximately 8:00am-4:30pm. For the first several months, this position will work 100% onsite at the Smucker offices in Orrville, Ohio.
