Job DescriptionAble to perform all responsibilities safely in a productive and quality driven manner. Responsible for inventory movement throughout the facility and recording inventory activity with extremely high accuracy in various business systems to ensure on-time delivery and prevent downtime in manufacturing.
Adhere to all safety, quality, and standard operating proceduresMaintain a safe and clean working environmentUnderstand and comply with requirements of working in a cGMP environmentMaintain good attendance and comply with all company policiesExhibit strong work ethic, problem solving skills, teamwork and leadershipEffectively communicate with co-workers and management staffDemonstrate competency working in integrated business systemsPull or replenish inventory to maintain workflow throughout the manufacturing processEnsure proper inventory levels throughout the production cycle of the productInvestigate and correct inventory discrepanciesPerform functions of physical inventory, such as counting and recording stock dataComplete tasks such as loading and unloading shipments and deliveries as neededPrepare product for shipment and process deliveries or purchase receipts as neededMay work overtime as needed; overtime may be required during busy periodsMay maintain central stores stock levels, assist with parts ordering and tracking, and process shipments of finished goods or deliveries of raw materials and other supplies.Assist with training of new hiresAssist in other materials management team functions as neededPerforms other job duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of 5 years’ experience operating forklifts and other PIV in a manufacturing settingProficient in use of barcode scanners in both warehouse and production environmentsDemonstrated competency in warehouse and material handling processes, print industry preferredMust have the ability to read and comprehend instructionsMust perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionIntermediate computer skills are required, including inventory control and movement transactionsExperience in inventory control, shipping and receiving functions is requiredMust be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without supervisionAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
