SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible for the overall management of par level inventory in assigned as it relates to supply replenishment, maximizing quality, minimizing costs and supporting department goals. Supports Supply Chain Services Manager to ensure existing inventory and associated expenses are within par level targets. Ensures consumable supplies are accurately controlled to reduce obsolescence, outdates and waste within the assigned units. Able tot ravel between locations on as need basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks to help in maintaining a steady work flow in the department. Works with others in accurately stocking shelves as products are delivered to the warehouse and storeroom locations.
· Acquires a daily working knowledge of receiving, stocking, pulling, issuing and delivery of products so as to be adequately cross trained in all logistical aspects of Supply Chain at AnMed.
· Responsible for receiving incoming shipments; properly checking in and documenting in Premier. Ensures all packing list documentation is scanned and attached to receipt in Premier.
· Documents and reports damaged, short-shipped and over-shipped supplies per established procedures.
· Responsible for securing and delivering high dollar receipts to minimize lose and/or damage.
· Coordinate items for outgoing shipment by packaging, marking and preparing credit/return POs, obtaining RGA numbers, shipping labels and/or other documents as required.
· Responsible for ensuring all received product is delivered to the proper requesting department by established delivery day, or immediately for priority product. Obtains delivery confirmation signature in Premier ERP via iPad.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Must learn computer programs for Supply Chain functions within 6 months of hire.
· Ability to accurately read and write in English and understand and use basic math skills.
