SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will develop and present officially approved material to a broad array of internal and external customers, and organizations to promote NAVSUP programs. You will be familiar with the Navy and DLA file systems and to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operations and assist in developing supply solutions. You will have knowledge of NERP, it's inquiry protocols, capabilities and report functionalities to provide logistics data support. You will provide support to Equipment Specialists in order for them to facilitate End-to-End Supply System Integrator through training; consultation; policy/process development; mentoring; and leadership development. You will provide technical logistics subject matter expertise; reporting/metric gathering; representation at management-level forums; and any area in which the discipline of technical logistics warrants support. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing procurement, configuration management, new system introduction, sustainment, disposal and inter-service engineering support to NAVSUP WSS Equipment Specialist professionals during all phases of weapons system life cycle. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, coordinating, and creating various policy statements, process guides and other work instructions to the NAVSUP WSS Aviation Equipment Specialist community. Assisting with the Defense Demilitarization, disposal and disposition program to ensure effective administration. Ability to coordinate with the program offices and develop alternative logistics support solutions to reduce supply system costs while maintaining an improving system readiness. Utilizing SAP, with an emphasis on the ECC module, must have familiarity of the federal cataloging system and the interface with NAVSUP WSS to successfully develop supply solutions. Conducting investigations to resolve complex process issues with systemic or manual corrective action and cross process solutions.
