GENERAL DESCRIPTION\n
Performs HAZMAT\/HAZWASTE functions as directed to included management per applicable polices\/regulations\/laws, maintain records and tracking logs, order and issue applicable materials, proper handling, and storage. Process turn-in items.\n
DUTIES\n\nThe ST-H must have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills\/ability in: \n\nHAZMAT\/HAZWASTE (Federal\/State\/Local\/Military laws, regulations, directives, requirements, and policies).\nNALCOMIS and VIDMAFs entry and completion. \nEmergency Reclamation Team training and experience.\n\n\nThe ST-H shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience in the area of HAZMAT\/HAZWASTE in an aviation maintenance environment.\nThe ST-H shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience in the field of DOD military aviation maintenance in the last ten (10) years to the level of effort and complexity of requirements in this SOW. Examples of acceptable experience: Navy Aviation Storekeeper (AK)\/Storekeeper (SK)\/Logistics Specialist (LS) (i.e., E-6, E-7, E-8 or E-9) or USMC equivalency. Graduate from military A and C schools or civilian training (e.g., HAZMAT\/HAZWASTE Certifications). NEC 9595- Hazardous Material Control Management Technician.\nOther duties as assigned\n\n
EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nMust have a minimum of one (1) year of HAZMAT\/HAXWASTE experience in an aviation maintenance environment.\nMust have Emergency Reclamation Team training and experience.\nProficiency in various computer programs required (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). \nMust be a US Citizen\nMust have or be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Investigation. The NACI process will include requesting a credit history.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
