Summary About the Position: This position is located at Little Goose Dam, Starbuck, WA. The Dam is operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers and is situated on the Snake River, 65-river miles downstream from Clarkston, WA and 70-river miles upstream from the Tri-Cities, WA. The work duties will be performed inside and outside the hydroelectric (powerhouse) facility. Responsibilities Oversee the Project's personal and real property inventories. Process requisitions for ordering supplies, materials, spare parts, and services including research for unusual, hard to find, and urgent items. Ensure requisitions contain proper: justification, authorization and funding source. Ensure mandatory government procurement sources are used to obtain materials and services where possible. Assist in developing and implementing local procedures for ordering with government purchase cards. Process receipts of procured items to verify quantity and quality of received items. Maintain detailed and complete procurement packets for each purchase requisition and upload to multiple locations throughout the billing cycle. Prepare monthly accruals and monitor outstanding purchase obligations and commitments to ensure that excess amounts are reduced. Usage of multiple software programs. Assist with GSA vehicle fleet management to include monthly bills, scheduling service appointments, and mileage log collection. Ability to work autonomously and be accountable. Interacting with customers and vendors via email, telephone, and Microsoft Teams. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing automated supply systems to account for property, inventory control, acquisition of supplies and equipment, performing inventory management, and receipt and storage of supplies and equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level position in the federal service at the GS-06 or equivalent. Education Additional Information This position is eligible for situational telework only. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
