SUPPLY TECHNICIAN
Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. Responsibilities You will review and research material lists (ML) prepared by inspectors and shop personnel for repair parts. You will be responsible for procurement of material using standard navy requisition procedures. You be responsible to annotate all National Item Identification Number (NIIN) items on the Material Lists (ML). You will validate requirements and provide detailed information on procurement documents when parts are rejected or cancelled. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For Outside applicants claiming VEOA and VRA (i.e., those without current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service) Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing and researching material lists (ML) prepared by inspectors and shop personnel; 2) Annotating National Item Identification Number (NIIN) items on material lists; 3) Maintaining procurement records, receipts, invoices, shipping, receiving, and other documentation required for audit purposes; 4) Assisting in determining correct dispositions of all unused materials; and 5) Providing detailed documents to support rejection or cancellations in procurement systems.
