Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will supervise, plan, organize the daily workload of the Property Accounting section. You will screen lists of special program requirements for availability of supplies. You will initiate preparation of requisitions for submission to the stock control unit. You will perform accounting functions and record keeping of equipment accounts. You will determine stock replenishment for supplies and other material within funding limitations. You will determine the quantity required for timely stock replenishment. You will maintain the account records, accountable forms and monies received. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: maintaining inventory of supplies and property; maintaining supply records; utilizing automated supply systems or programs; AND following supply regulations and procedures. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, you may qualify based on education or equivalent combination of education and experience, as follows: Successfully completed four years of education above high school level; OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent. Additional Information The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
