Supply Technician (Motor Vehicle Operator)
Summary About the Position: Position located at US Army Cadet Command, 8th Brigade, University of California-Santa Barba, located in Santa Barba, California. Responsibilities Utilizes various automated computer/software applications to prepare documents involving supply transactions, management reports and logistics. Provides staff assistance in all areas of supply and logistics management for the SROTC Program and affiliates within the Task Force structure. Forecasts, requests and manages the Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA) and Military Personnel, Army (MPA) budgets for the host program and affiliates within the task force structure. Accounts for property and manages various classes of supplies at the host and affiliated programs. Specialized experience at the GS-06 level is defined as: Ensures record management files are properly maintained; Follow procedures to inspect supplies or equipment for discrepancies; Operates automated word processing equipment with hardware and software components to prepare a variety of material including correspondence, forms, reports, etc; Maintains property book in accordance with applicable regulations.
