Supply Technician

XVIII ABC Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training: Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training: Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training: Divisions and Corps in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Unified Land Operations (ULO).

HOW THE NETWORK TECHNICIAN II WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Responsible for a wide range of supply management activities and provides a focal point of coordination and information concerning supply procurement, receiving, and accountability.Assist the Government in maintaining a standard operating procedure for property accountability.Maintain inventories of equipment to ensure tracking property down to the user level, submit lists of supplies and equipment required to execute the mission, assist in the ordering process, and properly account for and store items upon receipt, including physical disposition of materials and supplies.Receiving Government Equipment (GFE) into the GDIT Inventory.Ordering, receiving, disbursing, and storing operating suppliesPreparation and reconciliation of hand receipts for GFE supplies and equipment Preparation, packing and inventorying GFE for shipment to Remote Site locationsWorks with a degree of independence and significant feedback from management regarding supply administration/management.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education/Experience: HS Diploma .Experience: 1+ years of relevant experienceSkills Required:Basic knowledge of supply, logistics, and property management principles, methods, and techniques.Basic knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter.Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.Requires the application of judgment and initiative in both routine and non-routine supply management actions. Must interpret and adapt guidelines, SOPs and practices which pertains supply management.Preparation and submission of quarterly sensitive items reportsPreparation and submission of quarterly 10% inventoryPreparation of all routine supplySecurity Clearance: Current SECRET requiredLocation: Onsite
