The Supply Technician performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
Responsibilities

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
+ Responsible for posting to registers and ledgers.
+ Balance and reconcile accounts.
+ Notify supervisor of any issues or discrepancies.
+ Have a clear understanding of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
+ Complete all assigned tasks directed by lead or supervisor.
+ The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions.
+ Assist SSMO Supply Technician Lead and/or supervisor in the operation of the administration office.
+ Must possess knowledge of standardized supply regulations, policies, and procedures or other written or verbal instructions relating to receipt and/or issue of stock or and should possess the ability to perform a range of standard and non-standard clerical assignments and resolve recurring problems.
+ Utilizes the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) automated system to process all transactions.
+ Must have access and knowledge of the Subsistence Total Order Receipt Electronic System (STORES).
+ Download catalog from STORES upload to AFMIS and forward to customers.
+ Maintains files for accountability IAW Army Records Information Management System (ARMIS).
+ Must have the ability to multitask and make quick decisions as needed.
+ Responsible for customers requesting rations for field training and input request into AFMIS for ordering and issue.
+ Assist in forwarding warrior restaurants (WRs) prime vendors and direct vendor delivery orders through STORES and posting receipts in AFMIS in a timely manner to ensure WRs can conduct account and inventory reports.
+ Assist in providing WRs with monthly prime vendor’s and direct vendor delivery submission schedule.
+ Reconcile accounts with dining facility managers for accuracy before monthly close-out.
+ Assist customers with item identification, unusual requirements, account closing, orders and receipts.
+ Determines reasons for rejections, and prepare necessary correcting material.
+ Assist with training of personnel in administration functions.
+ Performs other duties as assigned by management.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
+ Common office setting with other administration employees, excessive noise conversation; may include overtime or shift work; working conditions also includes performing the requirements under certain time and resources constraints; temperature control environment but may encompass heat or cold at times
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
+ High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred.
+ Must have a valid State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
+ Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
+ Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Liberty Installation.
+ Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
EXPERIENCE:
+ 4 years administration
+ Must also be proficient in GCSS Army.
SKILLS:
+ Communication and listening, computer, problem solving, basic mathematics.
+ Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, perform with a high degree of accuracy and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.
+ Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
