At our site in Alconbury, near Huntingdon, we are looking to recruit a Support Administrator to join our Pathology department.
As an Administrator your responsibilities will include:
Booking in of study microscopic slides and paperwork, to distribute to allocated pathologistsSorting and filing microscopic slides and performing final slide completion checkProviding support for pathologists, such as pulling target tissues slidesDispatch of microscopic slides and documentation across sitesArranging shipment and preparation of dispatch of microscopic slides to external peer reviewers or their agents. Unpacking and checking on their returnPreparation of microscopic slides and documentation for external peer reviews for onsite reviewsPreparation and archiving of microscopic slides and study dataPreparing study documentation for QAGeneral house keepingAnnual archivingAssisting with procurement requestsDemonstrate and maintain good data organisation and self-QC skillsPerforming any function within the competence and experience that may be required by the companyAccurate collection and review of raw data at all times to safeguard data integrityUnder guidance, comply with Good Laboratory PracticeRead and comply with Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Procedures, and Study ProtocolsConversant with the electronic systems pertaining to the roleConversant with Health and Safety guidelinesWhat we can offer you:
