The Control Management organization is seeking a professional to use your analysis, reporting, and defect management skills within our suite of Operational Risk Management applications to support our Users, Business, and Organization. This is an opportunity to learn, and eventually lead, within a global support team focused on the firm’s management of Operational Risk and Reporting. You will communicate with a high level of detail to senior stakeholders, end users, and technology partners on all production Incidents/Issues. You will also partner with Technology to document bugs and prioritize fixes through production deployments.
As an Associate in the Control Management organization, you will be part of a dynamic global team. Your role will involve analyzing application issues, suggesting solutions, and reporting to senior management. You will also have the opportunity to support production deployments through smoke testing. This role offers the chance to work with highly motivated team members and contribute to our firm's operational risk management and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Report on key performance indicators and metrics of client support teams. Analyze user and application data and interpret data into useful, insightful information. Review data, identify trends, communicate findings and provide solutions for identified problems. Lead Triage meetings to review application defects and plan for their Production Release. Communicate, both verbally and written information to senior stakeholders, end users, and technology partners on all production Incidents/Issues with a high level of detail Partner with Technology to document bugs and prioritize fixes through production deployments Partner with Product Owners by recommending enhancements to existing processes and system by analyzing user data Partner with the Data Quality and Metadata management teams to ensure the application data is accurate, consistent, timely, etc. for our users to consume Oversee a portfolio of monitoring such as SLA, Performance, Data Quality, and Incidents to ensure identification, documentation, and resolution of all exceptions raised. Document support issues, procedures, operating models, and ensure knowledge bank is continuously updated with relevant material Create user and application reports using visualization tools such as tableau.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
2 years reporting experience required using data analytics and business intelligence tools such as Tableau/Alteryx/Cognos Excel proficiency (Pivots, V-Lookups, and Formulas) Experience with Tableau or other BI dashboard tools. General knowledge of ETL processes Experience with creating meaningful charts, graphs, or other data visualizations Experience in an Application Support/Client Service or Business Analyst/Product Owner role performing issue analysis and understanding monitoring requirements Experience with ticketing and triage/defect management Strong control background, process improvement and project management experience Strong communication skills, including oral, written and presentation Problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communicationPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Intermediate knowledge of one or more relevant programming languages and tools is a plus (e.g., Python, R, Perl, SQL, Alteryx, IDQ) Strong working knowledge of Agile methodology and product delivery Strong customer service and support focus with a desire to deliver a high-quality service Self-motivated and highly professional with ability to lead and take ownership and responsibility Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines Fast learner, energetic and enthusiastic Adaptable and flexible to business demands
