**Description:**
The Coordinator of Sterile Processing Support and Logistics is responsible for supervision of service areas including facilitation of daily operations; coordination of equipment needs for the department of Surgical Reprocessing, oversight daily schedule and assignments of SRP Techs, Service Associates and Surgical Services Technicians. This also includes planning and implementation of replacement for specialty Instruments.
The incumbent continually evaluates progress toward objectives and maintains efficient and effective day-to-day operations. Areas of responsibility, oversight of the equipment allocation for daily schedule, scheduling and coverage for direct reports.
QUALITY-In collaboration with management and/or clinical leadership,
assists in establishing standards and strategic initiatives to support
organizational patient care goals. Routinely measures and monitors the
assigned areas of responsibility. Creates and manages processes which
contribute to continual performance improvement. Actively supports and
promotes process improvement within areas of responsibility. Ensures
that assigned areas meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY - Assists in the planning of the annual budget
Through allocation of resources to support operations and meet
departmental goals. Manages operational budget including revenue,
expenses, staff levels and capital equipment sufficient to meet current
and projected patient volume or service requirements. Responsibilities
include supporting the OR manager in the identification and
implementation of cost-effective alternatives, product evaluation and
maximizing contractual agreements.
**Position Requirements:**
**Minimum Education Required:** High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
**Minimum Experience Required:** 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Details: Operational knowledge of the perioperative department is preferred.

Pay Range: $20.02-$31.03 per hour
