As a Support Engineer, you will work through various sales cycles to understand and uncover the need and develop a plan to address the need and implementing/following through on any trial. You will focus on safety initiatives at the customer sites to improve overall working conditions. You will be responsible for assisting the Sales Manager with product inventory and ordering as well as equipment upkeep.Role Responsibilities Include:Review treatment programs and processes within the territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention.Maintain and build business relationshipsConduct the necessary site and LMS/classroom training programs to understand the overall operations of the territory accounts and new customer sitesDevelop and implement sales plans on new opportunities with the direction of the Manager Sales I/II including documenting ROI after the closure of the program. Establish, maintain and prioritize an accurate and current sales funnel in SFDC.Manage profitability of the account (pump settings, pricing, accounts receivable)Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvementsQualifications:Required:Bachelor's DegreeMust have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordMust be authorized to work in the United StatesDesired:Bachelor’s degree related to Pulp & Paper Science, Engineering, or Life Science 3+ years of experience working in a pulp/paper mill or for a supplier to the paper industry1+ years of successful technical sales or field support experienceSuccessful completion of an internship/Co-OpExperience working in a packaging millProficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel)Independent workerProblem solverCustomer focusedGood communication skills both written and oralStrong work ethicFocus on safetyWe understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
