General Summary:

As a Support Engineer at Qualcomm, you will significantly contribute to our product improvement and work with other Engineers to sustain aspects of our product development life cycle. Support Engineers will also play a critical role in resolving technical system issues that promote product reliability. You will have endless opportunities to learn and grow in the Engineering development space.

 

Job Responsibilities

Maintain the Lab management system. Coordinate the optimal allocation of equipment and resources according to project requirements.Manage testing instruments and equipment, as well as the management of instrument maintenance and calibration work.Conduct daily ESD management in the lab, conduct ESD data tests and upload reports.Maintain and manage the Lab test PC.Cooperate with the finance department in equipment inventory.Collaborate with EHS to maintain Lab safety management.Assist the Project Leader in managing heavy - asset equipment within the project.Manage outsourced testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above, major in electronics - related fields.Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO17025 quality management systems.Familiar with common electronic instruments and equipment, including but not limited to oscilloscopes, analyzers, TCU, Chamber, Trace32, etc..Have strong management and communication skills, and possess good overall organization and handling capabilities for complex matters.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Support Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 2+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of work experience.
