Support Engineer III
Job Title: Wire Harness Technician

Job Description

Fabricate, assemble, and integrate high-quality, high-reliability wire harness and electro-mechanical assemblies. Read, interpret, and work from drawings as well as controlled documentation and processes, including cable harnesses with wiring diagrams, layout drawings, mechanical drawings, and GDT. Follow assembly procedures and work with engineering drawings and parts lists. Perform work according to procedures, specifications, and tests using various mechanical and precision calibrated tools. Conduct electrical checkouts using custom setups combined with off-the-shelf equipment/components. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Design, and Lab engineers to develop and document future processes. Ensure all production services are performed on time, safely, and in a professional manner.

Hard SkillsIPC 620 certificationExperience fabricating or inspecting wire harness and cable assembliesExperience in the aerospace industry aviation military or other high-reliability operating environmentKnowledge of electrical and mechanical systemsSkill in operating and manipulating machinery and various hand and power tools requiring manual dexterityAbility to use precision measuring instrumentsAbility to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced challenging work environmentProficient with computers and the ability to use MS OfficeAbility to work effectively in a team environment

Compensation Range: $30-34/hr
