The Support Optimization Data Engineering team is looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate for the role of a Data Engineer. This role will involve working with various teams to analyze data and processes to provide opportunities and insights that improve the operations of our global contact center teams.
**Description**
Data Engineers acquire and handle AppleCare data, collaborating with Product Owners and Project Managers to develop data-driven strategies from contact center data. They partner with organizations to develop data requirements for technologies and applications, improving data development using appropriate tools and techniques. Ensuring timely and effective creation of high-quality data, they effectively communicate data requirements to senior leadership, product owners, and business customers. Adhering to industry standards, they ensure the accuracy and quality of AppleCare data provided to tools, systems, and analysts. Conducting validation testing, they validate the data development process.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering or an Information Technology related field
+ 5+ years of data engineering and data analytics experience
+ 5+ years of experience in data development, data testing and data validations utilizing database platforms such as Snowflake, Hadoop, and Oracle.
+ Showed strength in SQL and in scripting languages such as Python
+ Experience in data visualization and reporting tools, particularly Tableau
+ Outstanding data-driven understanding with the ability to draw insights, uncover patterns, and solve complex business problems through data analysis
+ Experience in ensuring data quality and data integrity across various projects
+ Strong communication skills with meticulous attention to detail for translating data insights into business impact
+ Project Management experience including the development and refinement of data driven KPIs and their relationship to business metrics

+ Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering or an Information Technology related field
+ Deep understanding of AppleCare Support
+ Project Management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
+ Solid experience in data engineering tools and concepts, data pipeline development, data model design, and aggregation strategies, in support of adaptable and highly interactive data products
+ Data modeling experience in analytics or ML
