Support Services Aide - LIFE Building Vineland - PD Varied

MAJOR FUNCTION: 

Under the supervision of the center manager, the LIFE Support Services Aide will work in the LIFE Center as a receptionist, a housekeeper, a dietary aide, or a recreation aide as needed. As a receptionist, the LIFE Support Services Aide will greet staff, visitors, and participants in a courteous and professional manner, check participants in and out and ensure they have the appropriate ID badge and maintain the safety and security of the front entrance of the LIFE Center. As a housekeeper, the LIFE Support Services Aide will maintain the cleanliness of the INSPIRA LIFE facility, furniture, and equipment, and work closely with other LIFE center staff regarding areas that require immediate attention to maintain a clean and safe environment at all times. As a dietary aide, the LIFE Support Services Aide will maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, serves meals and snacks to all participants, and work closely with the Dietitian and the Center Manager regarding feeding issues, texture changes, appetite changes, diet orders and supplement usage. As a recreation aide, the LIFE Support Services Aide will assist the recreation staff in providing and assisting with activities for the LIFE participants in individual and group activities, high and low cognition group activities, and exercise and spiritual group activities. 

As a multisite provider of PACE community-based services for seniors in Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties, an Inspira LIFE employee may work at either or both the Vineland or Williamstown LIFE Program as census changes or operational needs occur to meet the needs of our participants.

Education & Experience: 

High School diploma or equivalent.  One year of experience in customer service, dietary, and/or housekeeping preferably in a health care environment.  Minimum of 1 year working with the frail or elderly preferred. 

Certification/Licensure:     

Valid Driver’s license, proof of insurance and have a reliable means of transportation as described in Fleet Policy # TR 118. Physical Requirements:
