Support Services Coordinator

CHMC – Environmental Services - Support Services Coordinator– Full Time- Day Shift- 5a-4p- Requisition TBD

This is an 8 hour shift. If you start at 6:30a you will work until 2:30p, 7a-3, 8a-4, 10a-6:30p etc. 

Job Grade 31: $23.45-$30.49*

The Environmental Services Support Services Coordinator directly oversees departmental administrative and disciplinary responsibilities. The Service Coordinator is responsible for reviewing all departmental policies and procedures, conducting monthly meetings and in services, developing work schedules, providing feedback for employee evaluations, and monitoring department performance These responsibilities will include

·Kronos/timecard management

·Creation of weekly schedules

·Receiving call ins and handling shift replacements/fill ins

·Attendance tracking

·Compiling performance data to be used for Performance Evaluations and progressive disciplinary measures

·Administering disciplinary measures in absence of department manager

·Overseeing staff competencies/education requirements

·Interviewing incoming staff

·Will devise Performance Improvement Projects

·Supply ordering and invoice approvals

·Building vendor relationships and being primary point of contact for vendor/sales reps communications/interactions

·Will be working with housekeeping supervisor to conduct audits: clean trace, rounding, uv light in, etc  and tracking results

Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Valid Driver’s License. One (1) year of experience in a managerial position. Proficient communication skills and ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a variety of personalities. Ability to maintain quality assurance and compliance with regulatory agencies. Ability to sustain attention to detail and accuracy as it pertains to the documentation of information.
