Schedule: Monday to Friday from 11:00pm – 7:30am

Annual Salary Range: 67k-73k

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalentAssociates or Bachelor's degree is a plus3 years of relevant experience; preferably in a clinical laboratoryPrior supervisory or leadership experience is preferredFamiliarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures is preferredStrong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office  Excellent communication skills; both written and verbalHigh level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skillsStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environmentAbility to handle the physical requirements of the position

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Supervise the day to day operations of the Department accesioning department directly supporting 30 teammateAssist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testingDirectly supervise, train, and mentor non-technical personnel of the departmentMonitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate coverageResponsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffedResearch and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessaryEngage in continuous process and service level improvementsPerform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracyPrepare and maintain Quality Assurance records and documentsMeet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their developmentResponsible for administering and managing policies and proceduresProcess and maintain payroll and personnel filesPerform administrative duties as needed
