SUMMARYProvide technical support to end-users for PC, server, hardware, or software applications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. + This is an on-site position, supporting our Maple Grove site (all 3 locations). + Perform basic to moderately complex troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and tablets. + Participate in the on-call rotation, responding to emergency situations as needed, during and after normal business hours during on-call week. + Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade various software applications. + Support end users in person, via phone, or utilizing remote support tools. + Interact with users to address technical issues, responding accurately in a timely and professional manner. + Deliver quality support within the established service level agreement. + Follow all policies, guidelines, and documentation relative to the successful delivery of service to the end user. + Understand all Safety, Quality, and Security policies and guidelines and work within the guidelines of these policies. + Create and maintain knowledge base articles covering standard processes and problem solutions. + Keep Configuration Management Database up to date. + Responsible for monitoring the Incident and Request Management queues and resolve tickets in a timely manner. + May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications and Skills + Basic desktop and IT Support skills. + Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve issues. + Must be customer service oriented with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a wide variety of audiences. + Must be team-oriented with the ability to collaborate with others to bring about a desired outcome. + Knowledge of the principles of local area networks. + Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Education and Minimum Requirements + High School diploma and one year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds. + A+ certification or similar preferred. + Experience with iOS/Android preferred. + Knowledge of ServiceNow and CMDB preferred. + Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory preferred. + Experience with SAP and Barcode Label Printers preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe position requires spending significant time working in front of a computer screen, with extensive use of keyboards and related equipment, often involving prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Physical demands include walking, reaching, and the capability to lift up to 20 lbs. routinely. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a dynamic environment and able to adapt to shifting tasks. Maintaining attention to detail and staying focused during repetitive activities are crucial for this role.WORK ENVIRONMENTThe primary work environment for this position is primarily within the office area, with occasional duties in the laboratories and warehouse and processing floors. The noise level in the work environment varies from low to moderate. Employees will be required to wear personal protective equipment while in the laboratories and on the processing floor.
