CAE- The leader in Aviation training is offering a unique opportunity in our Orlando, Florida location through its Supporting Crew Member (SCM) program.

The SCM program is designed to train and qualify program members to provide “right seat support” for our clients attending FAA approved 14 CFR 142 curriculum courses at our facilities.

We seek local candidates to our Orlando location for this on-call SCM position. 

Qualifications:

·        Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot certificate

·        Airplane Multi-Engine Land (MEL)

·        Instrument rating airplane multi-engine land, with 50 hours of multi-engine and instrument      experience

·        400 hours Total Time (100 hours of turbine, preferred)

·        Available for a minimum of 35 events in a 12-month period to stay current and receive recurrent training

·        Must live within the Orlando area

·        Must be able to commit 10-15 days of work a month

·        Scheduling is at a minimum of 5 hours at a time and could be scheduled 24/7

Aspiring Aviation Students that meet the criteria above.  This program has launched many aviation careers since its inception. Experienced Pilots looking to leave the rigors of a traveling, flying lifestyle but do not wish to retire from their aviation career.  This position as an SCM will give you an opportunity to remain in the cockpit, providing seat support for high quality flight training to our clients.

In addition to receiving formal aircraft SIC simulator training for select aircraft types, the SCM will have the opportunity to earn and then attend, at no cost one of the many advanced programs and enrichment courses provided by CAE.
