Unlock your potential! **Job Summary and Qualifications** + Demonstrates the ability to adapt technique/treatment to age of population served, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while providing care/service with respect to cultural differences and spiritual needs + Plans, schedules and implements the day-to-day operation of the building maintenance staff + Directs the operation, controlling and maintaining of building maintenance repairs and records, and the Complyos regulatory program records + Ensures that an adequate stock of repair and replacement parts are available in the department + Assists in scheduling and monitoring of the preventive maintenance program + Coordinates the daily operation of the Engineering Central work order database system + Coordinates the repairs, maintenance and adjustments to all systems that will involve minor plumbing, electrical work, and building structural repair + Coordinates operations when inspectors require inspection shutdowns and accompanies and assists them during the inspections + Selects new personnel, provides orientation and feedback, and takes appropriate counseling action when necessary + Assists in presenting training programs on department equipment to ensure a highly competent staff + Properly handling and processing hazardous chemicals and waste as needed + Maintain rotating shift schedule to allow for a 24 hour operation of facility + Assists in the maintenance of grounds as necessary + Supports commitment to fiscal priorities through appropriate management of resources; Identifies opportunities for improvement and cost containment in the delivery of care and service through Plant Operations + Performs all other duties as assigned **What qualifications you will need:** Required Registration, Licensure or Certification: Valid State of Kansas Driver’s License with no stipulations and be insurable to operate company vehicle Preferred Education or Experience: Three to five years of facility maintenance experience, previous hospital experience and supervisory experience Wesley Healthcare, as part of HCA Healthcare’s Continental Division, was named the top health system in the state by IBM Watson Health and one of the top five large hospital systems in the country.
