Summary This National Guard position is for a SUPV HR SPEC (MILITARY), Position Description Number D1620000 and is part of the NJ 177th FRS SQ, National Guard. This position is located within a Military Personnel Flight (MPF) of an Air National Guard (ANG) flying wing. Responsibilities As a SUPV HR SPEC (MILITARY), GS-0201-11, you will: Serve as advisor to commanders on assigned unit human resources (HR) programs. Plan, direct, control and provide advisory services on all aspects of the Career Enhancement program for both Active Guard Reserve (AGR), unit drill status guardsmen, full time technicians and potential members. Develop internal policies and procedures governing administration of the following programs: Officer Performance Report/Enlisted Performance Report (OPR/EPR), and officer, enlisted promotions and enlisted demotions. Manage the Air Force Personnel Records System. Manage and provide guidance and technical expertise of various special programs to include Deserving Airman Promotion Program, Reserve Officers Personnel Management Program, Exceptional Promotion Program, and Extensions/Reenlistment Program. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 24 months experience, education, or training involving the administering, delivering, maintaining, advising, and adapting basic concepts, principles, and theories of Human Resources to the unique organizational, management, and mission requirements.
