Summary About the Position: Serves as a Supervisory Management Analyst within PEO Missiles & Space, Integrated Fires Mission Command Project Office located in Redstone Arsenal, AL. This is a pay banded position. The NH-03 encompasses grades 12 and 13 on the General Schedule. Responsibilities Directs programs in areas such as resource management, organizational planning, strategic/business planning, acquisition management or programmatic capacity. Advise managers and technical staff on alternatives to achieve organizational, and manpower goals/initiatives. Interviews and recommends selections for vacant positions. Support programs such as human resources, manpower analysis, or training for the organization. Coordinates with others within and outside the organization on program accomplishment and collaborative efforts. Manages direct and reimbursable budget planning and execution. Specialized Experience: One year of experience which includes: 1) Supporting or assisting personnel working in operations, leadership, administrative or clerical functions; 2) Reviewing strategic/operational aspects of administrative or mission-oriented programs (program examples include but not limited to: resource management, organizational planning, or short/long term project planning; AND 3) Creating policy for administrative, facility, and personnel functional areas and carrying out in-depth analysis of policy and direct impact on program requirements. This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level NH-02 (GS-11) position in the federal service. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manages Human Resources Oral Communication Organizational Performance Analysis Personnel and Human Resources Workforce Development Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
