Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
This role is Mon - Fri, 2nd Shift with Occasional Weekend Accessibility Possible by Phone
This is a leadership role in the growing heat shrink tubing operations. The purpose of this role is to lead a production department to produce quality products on time and at the lowest cost.
Responsibilities
• Model TE behavior-based safety practices to promote a safe culture and compliance to worksite policies
• Supervise the manufacture of products to quality standards, ensuring compliance to specifications, internal procedures, and regulatory standards
• Meet customer expectations for shipping to schedule
• Meet product cost goals, identify cost saving opportunities, and implement those opportunities
• Complete leader standard work to ensure processes are working to standard or to escalate appropriately
• Build an effective team though two-way communication and teamwork within and across shifts
• Manage, motivate, and develop staff through coaching and performance management, recognizing and rewarding individual and team behaviors as appropriate
• Collaborate effectively with others across the organization to collectively achieve business objectives
• Communicate effectively through written, verbal, non-verbal, and visual methods to achieve results
• Other tasks as assigned
• 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results aligned with business objectives by building an effective team
• Demonstrated problem solving in manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated experience using computer-based systems in a networked environment; working knowledge of Windows OS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams; PLM and SAP ERP system experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree but experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Experience in a regulated environment
• Experience in the medical device industry
• Demonstrated experience using lean tools and systems

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $91,000k - $136,600k annually (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
