Summary:

Responsible for the Anesthesia department. Supervises anesthesia technologists. Ensures safe and efficient patient care by providing technical supplies and equipment required during responsibilities performed by the anesthesia provider peri-operatively. A super-user and responsible for Autologous Blood Transfusion Program. Responsible for all staff competencies for anesthesia staff. Responsible for quarterly quality control checks on all equipment as related to the Autologous Blood Transfusion Program. Reviews Autologous Blood recovery cases and provides a monthly report to the Medical Director of ONEBLOOD. Responsible for policy update/accuracy as it relates to Auto Transfusion Policy. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional required specific skills also includes knowledge of proper body mechanics.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certification:

Required – BLS (Basic Life Support)

Education:

Required – High School or Equivalent

 

Experience:

Required – 4 years – Anesthesia

Shift Hours: 1:00pm - 9:30pm
