The Surface Docking System Engineering & Integration will\:
NASA requires a resource to serve as full-time Systems Engineering and Integration Technical Lead, who can provide extensive experience organizing, managing, and leading the international docking system standard documentation/IDSS and committee meeting activities; and will serve as documentation and change manager in IDSS document content development, informal and formal document change management, organizing international partner collaboration meetings and logistics to help ensure meeting NASA expectations for managing the IDSS, products, and processes.

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has experience with developing ICDs, IRDs and IDDs for commercial NASA partners doing integration with NASA spacecraft and experience leading and managing international partner standards Is capable of developing and applying advanced techniques in the investigation and solution of advanced system requirements and problems using existing NASA Requirement management processes and SharePoint tools Can perform advanced technical planning, system integration, requirement management, verification and validation, and evaluates alternatives. Can analyze and resolve difficult and complicated program support deficiencies Can aid in planning, conducting, and directing project SE&I activities Can help coordinate efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects Can facilitate or support conducting project actions and testing of considerable complexity Can manage, track, all open technical issues and action items with NASA Orgs, Surface Element Projects, and International Partners, as requiredRequisition Preferences\:
Engineering degree from accredited university Familiar with NASA documents and processes Experience with Space Docking Systems Familiar with Office Suite, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Capable of presenting technical information to NASA customer and Amentum management
