We are seeking a candidate for the position of SURFACE DRILL TECHNICAL ADVISOR - based at Remote Customers Site.

Job purpose: To service and/or maintain Sandvik Drills equipment to ensure machine availability, Customer satisfaction and equipment effectiveness, while coaching and mentoring Technicians. This will assist the maintenance teams to maximize production whilst minimizing costs.

Key performance areas 

Establish and lead effective safety management within equipment maintenance.Provide specialized technical expertise to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and achieve project goals.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.Prepare detailed technical reports, feasibility studies, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.Lead and manage maintenance improvement initiatives, ensuring participation, sustainability, and delivery of targeted outcomes.Train and mentor technical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring sustainable development.Develop and implement processes and standards to ensure effective and efficient equipment maintenance.

Your profile

Batchelor degree in Engineering, MechanicalAdaptability to work in challenging environments and diverse cultures.Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Commitment to capacity building and sustainable developmentMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry.Demonstrated leadership skills with practical experience in coaching and team building.Implementation of maintenance systems and processes.Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal, oral, written, and cross-cultural capabilities.Self-motivation.Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.Change management experience (desirable).
