Job DescriptionElectronics Technician Maintenance III
Technician will provide onsite support to conduct specified engineering/technical evaluations, equipment functional checks, troubleshooting/test/analysis and equipment repair to correct AN/SLQ-32(V)6 or AN/SLQ-32(V)7 Systems maintenance, installation, and connectivity faults.
The contractor shall formulate and present findings, briefings, status reports, and correspondence for all stakeholders such as TYCOM, ISEA, MARMC, and Ship’s Force.
The contractor shall provide OBMT to Ship's Force technicians in the operation, repair, maintenance, and logistics support of AN/SLQ-32(V)6/7 systems.
The contractor shall perform/provide support during shipboard Combat Systems tasks including Pier Side Refurbishments, C5RA, CSPAT, CSSQT, ICMP, TSRA, INSURV programs and Tech Assist events. It is highly desirable, the contractor should be able to troubleshoot connectivity issues between the AN/SLQ-32(V)6 or AN/SLQ-32(V)7 and all required combat systems such as BFTT Electronic Warfare Trainer (BEWT), BFTT, SSX-1, and SSDS. The contractor shall formulate and present findings, briefings, status reports, and correspondence for all stakeholders such as TYCOM, ISEA, MARMC, and Ship’s Force.
MK 36/53 Decoy Launcher Systems Support
The contractor shall provide onsite support to conduct specified engineering/technical evaluations, perform equipment functional checks, perform troubleshooting/test/analysis and equipment repair to correct MK 36 and MK 53 Decoy Launching Systems maintenance, installation, and connectivity faults. The contractor shall formulate and present findings, briefings, status reports, and correspondence for all stakeholders such as TYCOM, ISEA, MARMC, and Ship’s Force.
The contractor shall provide OBMT to Ship's Force technicians in the operation, repair, maintenance, and logistics support of Decoy Launching systems.
The contractor shall perform/provide support during shipboard Combat Systems tasks including Pier Side Refurbishments, C5RA, CSPAT, ICMP, TSRA, INSURV programs and Tech Assist events.
Required Resume Experience:
Candidates must demonstrate at least six (6) years’ experience in troubleshooting, repair, assessment, operation, refurbishment, removal, and installation of AN/SLQ-32(V)6 and/or AN/SLQ-32(V)7 system components onboard US Navy ships. At least three (3) years’ experience in basic soldering, fiber optic repair, and cable connector fabrication skills.
OR
Candidates must demonstrate at least four (4) years’ experience troubleshooting, repair, assessment, operation, refurbishment, removal and installation of MK 137 Mods 7 & 10 Nulka Launchers, MK 137 Mods 1, 2, & 4 SRBOC Launchers, and MK 36 & MK 53 system components onboard US Navy ships.
Candidates must also possess at least two (2) years of experience in basic soldering and cable connectorization skills.
Desired Education:
Candidates possess one or both of the following NECs:
1. C04A AN/SLQ-32(V)6 Electronic Warfare Systems Maintenance Technician
2. C04B AN/SLQ-32(V)7 Electronic Warfare Systems Maintenance Technician
Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
