**Job Title: Surface Mount Technology - Assembly Operator**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a dedicated Electronic Assembly Technician to join our team. This role offers a flexible start time with a 4 x 10s Monday through Thursday schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for wire harness assembly, working with Mil-spec connectors, and soldering small components onto PCBs and cables to connectors.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform wire harness assembly.
+ Work with Mil-spec connectors.
+ Solder small components onto PCBs and cables to connectors.
+ Work under a microscope.
+ Use small hand tools for electronic work.
+ Work in a clean room environment.
+ Sit at a work station for the entire shift.
+ Follow wiring diagrams, customer specifications, drawings, and blueprints.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in soldering.
+ Experience in wire harness assembly.
+ Knowledge of working with Mil-spec connectors.
+ Ability to perform electronic assembly.
+ Familiarity with SMT and SMT operation.
+ Experience working in a clean room environment.
+ Ability to work with small hand tools.
+ Capability to work under a microscope.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Must have either current or expired IPC certifications.
+ 2-3 years of experience in wire harness assembly.
+ Experience in crimping.
+ Knowledge of round connector experience, specifically Mil-spec connectors.
+ More electrical experience than mechanical.

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes operating in a clean room, using small hand tools, working under a microscope, and sitting at a work station for the entire shift. The role requires adherence to strict specifications and working from wiring diagrams, customer specifications, drawings, and blueprints.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona.
