Surface SONAR Technician

Amentum has an immediate opening supporting our Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) customer. + Provide technical assessment/inspection support, engineering and technical services, and program/logistics support for the AN/SQQ-89 SONAR system and associated equipment/subsystems + Support both ship and land-based site installations, experience providing technical assessment and inspection support, engineering technical services, and program and logistics support for AN/SQQ-89 and associated equipment/subsystems + Draft Material Assessment Forms (MAF), Technical Assistance Visit Reports (TAVR), and providing INSURV reports using the PRISMS program/software + Review, assess, maintain, and provide recommendations for revisions, updates, and changes for all technical documentation relative to SQQ-89 and associated subsystems + Provide scheduling, coordination, and documentation (including TAAS or current system in use) of the MARMC technical assistance and assessment support process Minimum Requirements: + A minimum of Six (6) years of troubleshooting, evaluating, repair, and general experience with the AN/SQQ89 SONAR System and associated equipment + Must be able to assess AN/SQQ89 system architecture and computer processing system interfaces to locate and correct shipboard faults + Must have an active secret US government clearance.
