Surface Warefare Analyst
Amentum is seeking a Surface Warefare Analyst with related education and/or experience to support systems and software development in support of the Navy and Marine Corps **Surface Warefare Analyst Responsibilities Include:** + Providing Human Factors Engineering support based on their operational knowledge + Providing operational knowledge to optimize total system performance and total ownership costs, while ensuring that the system is designed, operated, and maintained consistent with mission requirements. + Providing integrated and comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment of requirements, concepts, and resources for human factors engineering. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution + Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance + Must have Combat Systems experience related to Aegis Combat and Weapons Systems or Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), and Shipboard Navigation Systems + Must have experience on Surface Combatant Ships to include a deployment in support of battle group operations + Must possess an Officer of the Deck (OOD) qualification + Former Surface Warfare Officer (SWO), Limited Duty Officer (LDO) or Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) with a minimum of 10 years US Navy Active duty experience + Complete a tour of duty on a CVN or Amphib Class Surface Ship + Completion of ship deployment in support of battle group operations + Test and Evaluation experience + Tactics development and evaluation + Tactical Action Officer (TAO) qualification + Navy Instructor/Master Training Specialist (MTS) + Specialty fleet systems qualifications Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
